Mordred of Karnac

There was just snow that time, when the warriors still used to ran to the battle and smash their enemies. Mordred was the name of the one who fought against the king of Emperiom, the enemy kingdom. And the land of Karnac had never met another powerful warrior as he was.

In the winter, when the blizzard came, the Karnac’s army went to the battle. They were used to the snow, because their land was very high, and the castle was at the top of the Frozen Mountain. But that strategy was risky, even if the soldiers were used to the snow, they could die from hunger. Actually, Mordred thought that was a stupid strategy, and maybe he was right.

When the soldiers got out of Karnac’ Fortress, they sense cold, and they couldn’t walk too much, because if they sweated, they could get hypothermia and, eventually, die. That strategy was made by the king, who wasn’t a very good strategist as everyone can see. The soldiers’ fingers were starting to frozen, and some of them were dying. Mordred lost one finger, but he should have loyalty to his king, and because of that, he didn’t complain.

They finally made their way to Emperiom’s Castle, and the men inside there were drunk or sleeping, after a night of party maybe. Karnac’s soldiers entered the castle and killed everyone they could see, but the strongest man in that castle, unlikely his army, was the king of Emperiom, Darthan. He was wearing a helmet made with iron with silver details and chainmail of iron, and he was using a big axe, that killed a lot of the men who invaded his castle (a lot came from Karnac, but a few made all the way to Emperiom).

Mordred, with his long sword and an iron shield, defeated Darthan disarming him and cutting his throat. Mordred was a hero.
